As we begin the start of a new year, we can’t help but look back and reflect on the last month of 2022. December was a month full of events, parties, charity drives, and so much more. We kicked off the month with our annual Soup Cook-Off and ended with our Employee Christmas Party and the prestigious Rafiki Award. Join us as we take a (short) trip down memory lane to recap the last month of 2022!

It all started with our annual Soup Cook-Off. Hanover® employees created 12 tasty soups for us to enjoy and vote on our favorite.

Donna Groft took home first place and the Golden Ladle award with her Creamy Ham & White Bean Tortellini. Second place went to Tessa Weishaar and her Creamy Tomato Seafood Bisque while Courtney Macy snagged third place with her classic Chicken Noodle.

Thank you to everyone who participated! Our mouths are already watering for next year!

Over the course of the next few days, we made and served breakfast sandwiches for all employees and handed out our new Hanover® apparel. The real winner of the breakfast was definitely the bacon!

Breakfast also marked the end of our annual Toys for Tots toy drive. Thanks to the Hanover® team and their families, we were able to fill three boxes full of new toys for children to enjoy.

Thank you for your generosity and helping children in our community experience the magic of Christmas!

Rounding out the end of the month, we celebrated the holiday season with our annual Christmas Spirit Day and our Employee Christmas Party.

Our team got into the holiday spirit and decked themselves out with Christmas sweaters, light-up necklaces, jingle bells, and much more. Diane’s “Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer” outfit was a huge hit!

Every year, we throw an Employee Christmas Party to celebrate all the hard work we put in throughout the year. Mission BBQ catered lunch and Snacktown Kitchens Co. provided delicious cupcakes and cookies. We also presented the 2022 Rafiki Award to Aislinn VonSas, for her dedication, kindness, and devotion to helping everyone around her. Congratulations, Aislinn!

December 2022 was a great end to an amazing year! We are so thankful for the Hanover® team and how hard they work each and every day. Hanover Pavers would not be where we are today without them. Now it is time to say goodbye to 2022 and look forward to 2023.
