At Hanover®, it is important for us to prioritize the safety of both our employees and customers. Steps we take to protect others include ice and snow removal, designated pedestrian walkways, and lighted parking lots. Employees are outfitted with safety gear such as hi-vis apparel, eyewear, earplugs, and steel-toe shoes. Even with all the measures in place, we realized we can do more.

We recently installed new pedestrian walkways and crosswalks at our Residential Design Center. These painted lines and markers clearly indicate where visitors and employees can walk throughout the parking lot and yard area.

Our stone bin and loading areas were relocated for better visibility and received new yellow painted markers indicating “Caution” and “Loading Zone” areas.

Our Residential Design Center isn’t the only area that received some safety upgrades. All plant entrances are now marked with caution signs equipped with flashing lights. When these lights flash, it means someone is either crossing the road or is about to. Please take extra caution when these lights flash and remember to always follow the speed limit and general traffic signs!
